About us

A warm welcome from the Midlands Talent, Leadership and Lifelong Learning Team, part of NHS England.

We have now been working across the Midlands region since April 2020 and our annual report details our work so far. We continue to work in turbulent times with talk of a new model for what is ‘business as usual’ and for us that continues to be supporting leaders and leadership development.

Our work continues to be centred on delivering the People Plan and the Midlands Equality, Diversity and Inclusion strategy as well as supporting the 11 Midlands Integrated Care Systems.

This year and into the future we will work closer than ever with our other regional teams so will be signposting to open access opportunities from other regions as well as our own. The digital environment makes this possible like never before. In addition, there will be localised tailored support.

We know now more than ever that outstanding leaders inspire cultures of compassion, authenticity and inclusion. This supports effective teamwork, which in turn, improves the services, care and trust needed to provide to patients, service users and local communities.

We have a strong team spirit, a supportive nature and a diverse mix of people – meet your Midlands LLL team here.
