NHSE Midlands Black History Month Webinar 3

Black History Month (BHM) is an annual celebration of the contribution that Black African and Caribbean communities have made both locally and across the world.  Recent significant events have really turned the spotlight on the current depth and breadth of racism across the world. So, this year’s Black History Month is more important than ever, but it’s not just a month, it is a year-round acknowledgement.

In line with the Midlands Regional Workforce, Race Equality & Inclusion Strategy we want turn the tide of racism together and educate, support and challenge ourselves and our colleagues.

We held a series of three webinars to aim to share lived experiences and highlight changes that have, should or are in the process of happening. These events are an opportunity to hear from Black colleagues about what more they need others to do in standing up to racism.
