The NHS Graduate Management Training Scheme (GMTS) is currently in full flow to assess and benchmark candidates for the September 2021 cohort. We are delighted to confirm organisations can now submit a bid / statement of commitment to host a graduate trainee for the forthcoming September 2021 cohort. Statement of Commitments are now open for the following specialisms:

Organisations who would like to host trainees will be required to pay a contribution of £24,000 per trainee for all specialisms to cover the duration of their time on the Scheme.
If you would like to host a graduate trainee for the September 2021 cohort, you will need to complete an online statement of commitment form by using the following link. The Assurance pack and related appendices, including what we are looking for in a bid, along with Appendices 1 and 2 and Guidance for Completing Statement of Commitment can be found on the following link. Please take the time to read through these documents.
Please note the lead host organisation or host system is responsible for sourcing the second placement and is required to complete the form for both their own placement as well for the second with their partner organisation. The deadline for your submission is 16th April 2021. We appreciate how busy everyone is at the moment and therefore if you do know you will want a trainee in September but have concerns about meeting this deadline, please do contact us as soon as possible so we can discuss how best we can support you to ensure you are able to host a trainee in September 2021.
GMTS Senior Lead Lizzy Stillibrand and GMTS Leadership Development Coordinator Andrew Spears will be available for one to one conversations so please do contact [email protected] to arrange a convenient time to talk through the benefits of hosting a trainee and how to complete the form if required.
