DESCRIPTION:Diffusing leadership through the systems that we operate requires us have a collaborative and inclusive approach. The ability to be adaptive and responsive means that we need to leverage the diverse perspectives and ideas of others. We’ll discuss motivation and empowerment\, coaching and creating a feedback culture that helps us to embrace and embed distributed leadership into our practice. \nLearning outcomes: \n\nInspiring leadership: explore strategies to ignite and uphold responsibility and accountability within your teams and system we’ll consider how intrinsic and extrinsic motivation can help to drive engagement and enhance collective efficacy.\nPerformance and strength-based coaching: acquire skills in performance management and strengths-based coaching\, facilitating professional development within a distributed leadership framework.\nFacilitating courageous conversations: the ability to engage in open\, transparent\, and constructive dialogue through courageous conversations\, enabling effective communication and conflict resolution within distributed leadership structures.\nEmbedding distributed leadership into practice: discussion on embedding distributed leadership into everyday practice within healthcare settings.\n\nWho is this session for: \nThese workshops are for those who want to learn and deepen their understanding of system working.  They are aimed at those who can return to their systems and positively promote and influence the benefits of working collaboratively with health and social care colleagues across your integrated care system\, for the benefit of our patients and citizens. \nAbout the facilitator: \nSusie Edwards (RSA Fellow\, MA\, MSc & Post Grad Dip.) \nWith nearly two decades of experience spanning healthcare\, science\, business and education my professional journey has been driven by three core passions: compassionate leadership\, communication in the workplace and career development.
