SUMMARY:Leading Transformation for Integrated Care - Leading alongside your local communities
DESCRIPTION:Leading Transformation for Integrated Care \nColleagues working in health\, social care and the voluntary\, community and social enterprise sector are welcome to join us for our new series of 90-minute\, virtual sessions.  We have different topics for you to choose from which have been co-designed with the seven Regional Hubs of the NHS Leadership Academy and will be hosted by our delivery partner\, Tricordant. \nSo what is this series about?  Based on insights and experience drawn from work with a number of Integrated Care Systems across England these sessions will explore what partnership working looks like across teams and organisations. \nWhat does this mean for leaders?  It is co-designed with input from local representatives to understand their current challenges and opportunities. The aim is to enhance participants’ capability to think and act as leaders within systems. \nThis series is for anyone involved in change and transformation\, delivery of new integrated care services\, organisation development and partnership development working in health and social care systems across England. \nGeneral learning outcomes for the programme: \n\nUnderstand and explore a ‘Leading Transformation’ topic\nFeel confident to apply some practical tools\nLearn\, share and grow with colleagues in similar situations\n\n3.Leading alongside your local communities \nThis topic will explore engagement and co-production with communities.  How can you work as leaders to hear the voice of local communities and work with their strengths and assets. \nParticipants will gain a better understanding of: \n\nWho to engage and how in your communities?\nA relational approach to engagement and leading change\nWhat co-production and citizen leadership looks like\n\nWho is this session for:  \nThe NHS Leadership Academy provides leadership development for people of all backgrounds and experiences across health and care.  \nOther information: \nPlease note that the East of England Regional Hub is co-ordinating all bookings on behalf of the seven regional hubs and you may be redirected to book at our web site.  Confirmation emails and links to all sessions will be issued by the East of England Leadership Academy. \nThe session will be delivered virtually \nBook here: \nThursday 23rd March 2023 \n

DESCRIPTION:What is it about? \nBuilding your Networks to support your Career \nResearch indicates that men and women create different networks and use them differently\, so\nwhat can you learn from the gendered approaches? In this 75-minute masterclass\, you will be\nencouraged to review your networks\, what works for you and what challenges you face. In addition\,\ncome prepared to examine your answer to the question “what do you do?” and to identify ways to\nbuild your networks to support your career.\nDuring the online masterclass there will be an opportunity to ‘meet’ your fellow participants\,\npractise your networking skills and begin to expand your network.\nBy the end of the masterclass participants will be able to: \n\nIdentify who you need in your influential and friendship network\, and why\nAnswer the question “what do you do” – without your job title!\n Why networking is an important part of career progression and the importance of sponsorship\n(not just mentorship).\n\n  \nGuest Speaker \nWe are delighted to be joined  Kate Atkin is an inspirational speaker\, training consultant and coach.\nWith over 20 years of experience as a facilitator\, Kate has worked with many clients on business\, management and communication issues. A highly skilled listener\, her style is both supportive and challenging. Kate aims to create a relaxed\, confidential learning experience\, providing practical advice that can be implemented quickly. \n  \nHow is it run? \nThis is a 90 minute virtual workshop over Zoom. \n  \nIs there a cost? \nNo\, this has been funded by the Midlands Talent Team and East of England Talent Team.
