DESCRIPTION:What is it? \nBehavioural Science  \nInclusion\, diversity and equity must be a golden thread that runs through everything we do in the workplace\, in our communities and in our mentoring sessions.  \nJoin Emma Coller of Growth Pod for a slightly different take on this topic area. This session will be two-fold. It will focus on how cognitive biases can hold people back from achieving their full potential and how understanding behavioural science can help you mentor people through action to achievement.  Secondly it will challenge your own biases and how that may impact on your professional mentoring development.  \nBecause as the wise Jesse Jackson said\, Inclusion is not a matter of political correctness\, it’s the key to growth.  \nDelivered via Zoom \nWho can attend? \nThis event is open to anyone who provides mentoring support\, both in a formal and informal capacity.  We welcome attendance from everyone\, please note you do not need to be registered with our Mentoring Hub to take part. \nIs there a cost? \nNo\, this training has been funded by Midlands Leadership & Lifelong Learning and is free for attendees. \nHow is it run? \nThis is a 90 minute live webinar with opportunities to ask questions and have a discussion with the facilitators and other attendees. Sessions will be recorded for anyone who signed up to watch again\, or view if they missed it\, so if you are uncomfortable with being recorded\, ensure your camera is off.
