SUMMARY:Mentoring CPD Session – Appreciative Inquiry
DESCRIPTION:What is it? \nAppreciative Inquiry \nAppreciative inquiry is a powerful yet simple model that ignites hope\, strengths and optimism to generate curious and positive conversations. It moves conversations from problem orientated to one of possibility. \nJoin Emma Coller of Growth Pod for this final CPD workshop where we will explore the concept of appreciative inquiry. How to use it in your mentoring conversations for positive impact. In this session be prepared to practice\, as we will actively engage in an\nappreciative inquiry exercise. \nBecause as the wise David Cooperrider once said\, “We grow in the direction of the questions we ask.” \nDelivered via Zoom \nWho can attend? \nThis event is open to anyone who provides mentoring support\, both in a formal and informal capacity.  We welcome attendance from everyone\, please note you do not need to be registered with our Mentoring Hub to take part. \nIs there a cost? \nNo\, this training has been funded by Midlands Leadership & Lifelong Learning and is free for attendees. \nHow is it run? \nThis is a 90 minute live webinar with opportunities to ask questions and have a discussion with the facilitators and other attendees. Sessions will be recorded for anyone who signed up to watch again\, or view if they missed it\, so if you are uncomfortable with being recorded\, ensure your camera is off.
