SUMMARY:Mentoring CPD Session – Psychological Safety
DESCRIPTION:What is it? \nEveryone has a right to bring their whole selves to work and to feel valued and respected for who they are. Psychological safety is a concept that creates cultures where this is enabled. Where learning\, contributing and innovating is safely encouraged so each person and the organisation can flourish. \nJoin Emma Coller of Growth Pod to learn about the four elements of psychological safety\, how it can be used to grow positive workplace cultures and is a vital element to growth and development and your mentoring conversations. \nBecause as the wise Verna Myers said\, “Diversity is being invited to the party\, inclusion is being asked to dance ” \nDelivered via Zoom \nWho can attend? \nThis event is open to anyone who provides mentoring support\, both in a formal and informal capacity.  We welcome attendance from everyone\, please note you do not need to be registered with our Mentoring Hub to take part. \nIs there a cost? \nNo\, this training has been funded by Midlands Leadership & Lifelong Learning and is free for attendees. \nHow is it run? \nThis is a 90 minute live webinar with opportunities to ask questions and have a discussion with the facilitators and other attendees. Sessions will be recorded for anyone who signed up to watch again\, or view if they missed it\, so if you are uncomfortable with being recorded\, ensure your camera is off.

DESCRIPTION:About the session  \nUnderstanding Your Leadership Style  \nUnderstanding different leadership styles; examining our own natural style of leadership and how we can be flexible in our approach to increase our leadership effectiveness   \nIn this workshop we will gain an understanding of different leadership styles\, examining your own natural style of leadership and how to be flexible in your approach.
