LGBT+ History Month 2022 – Staff Voice: Power of identity
LGBT+ History Month is a month-long annual celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, and non-binary history, including the history of LGBT+ rights and related civil rights movements.
It is important to acknowledge that our colleagues in the system continue to face significant pressure to meet the challenge of Covid-19. However, it is vital that we continue to keep Equality, Diversity and Inclusion firmly on our agenda to amplify the voices of our LGBT+ workforce, community, provide opportunities to educate ourselves, promote and encourage active allyship.
NHSEI Midlands are supporting activities to celebrate LGBT+ History Month and the ED&I Team will be hosting a Regional webinar on Monday 28th February 2022, 11am -12.30pm via Microsoft Teams.
