Complete Leadership Series – Virtual Leadership
What is it about?
This workshop will explore how to communicate effectively across a range of communication media to a diverse audience. Using a simple model of engagement and looking at ways to build trust, participants will identify ways that engagement can differ in a virtual environment and will explore how to form strong relationships through trust and communication, with a focus on transparency. Participants will learn how to create connections by building a sense of community and inclusivity, and by leveraging technology. Finally, participants will discuss strategies for leading virtual meetings and then work together to identify virtual team best practices.
Although this session will touch upon using online platforms such as Zoom or MS Teams, it is not a “how to use” session, more a “how to lead effectively in this space” session.
